Our top meal hacks for feeding our kids!

We say it often but if you have been following us thus far, you know our life is BUSY. From running multiple business’, to trying to be great wives, mothers and even better daughters. Our life is a roller coaster. Our kids well being is always at the top of the list though. On the blog today we are breaking down our must have items and our go to meals for the kids, so they are eating healthy and meal prep time is quick for us.

Hack 1: Smoothies- A quick way to sneak in tons of veggies and fruits is a smoothie. Here is our smoothie recipe that our kids love the most. We are going to share it with you.

  • 2 peaches peeled and cut into cubes

  • 2 bananas

  • 1 cup of spinach

  • 1/2 cup of vanilla yogurt

  • 1 jar of pureed carrot baby food ( either bought or homemade)

  • 1 cup of crushed ice

Hack 2: The Munchkin SPLASH line is a must. Easy storage in your cupboards so can quickly store and access your items. Deep walls for scooping, it’s easy for kids to scoop their food and get into their tummies. Dishwasher and microwave safe plus BPA free. No slip bottoms means less mess and food stays on the table. We love the sections so you can separate veggies, carbs, fruit meat etc. You can make it fun and bright for the kids with a variety of different foods to eat in one meal.

Hack 3: Roll veggies into meatballs, from diced zucchini to spinach and more. They are the best way to give them a ball of nutrients literally

Hack 4: Dips and Sauces

Kids love to dip their food , why not make those dips healthy. Puree some veggies and voila you have a dip! Another great idea is pasta and puree. I bowl some pasta for Mr. A and then mix in a baby food puree had a bit of olive oil and dinner is done!
